Position: Systems Engineer

As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for providing quality technical support for our growing client and partner base globally. The Systems Engineer must have an excellent understanding of computers (both hardware and software) and a demonstrated willingness to learn and apply new technology. They must possess superior technical aptitude, written and oral communications skills and the ability to deal effectively with people in a wide variety of situations.

Responsibilities:

✓ Perform systems management functions including incident management, desktop support, server support, virtualization support, works closely with our client     team to isolate and troubleshoot incidents.
✓Participates in on-call and remote support as required. Provides technical leadership regarding systems configuration management, troubleshooting and    systems management methodologies and practices.
✓Perform Backup and Disaster Recovery systems management functions, including management of offsite media storage.
✓Optimize the technical performance and capacity characteristics of system operating environments.
✓Provide leadership and ensure controlled administration of changes supporting the systems operating environment.
✓Perform system installations, refreshes, and upgrades (i.e. database, operating system, and application).

Qualifications

✓Fundamental understanding of and hands-on experience with Microsoft Operating Systems, Desktops, Servers, Cloud and Office 365.
✓Minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting and installing Windows Desktop operating systems (Windows XP and above).
✓Minimum of 1 years’ experience performing entry level Server/network administration (Windows Server 2003 and above).
✓Advanced knowledge and proven record deploying and supporting Microsoft Office applications (Minimum Office 2007, Office 2010 and above preferred .
✓Outstanding English language written and verbal communication skills and comprehension.
✓Outstanding customer service skills and Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
✓Excellent account management, follow-through, and attention to detail.
✓Experience in computer networking related problem solving, critical thinking, and troubleshooting.
✓Certifications a plus: MCP, MCPIT, MCSE, VCE, etc.
