Job Summary

key to this role is a general understanding of networking technologies and functions including Operations and Onsite Field Engineering. The Project Manager must be mindful of how their role impacts the firm’s business and reputation. Concepts such as driving value, always delivering quality, keeping commitments, being on-time and under-budget, effective and detail communications and understanding how their work impacts how the firm competes in the market place are important.

This role is part of a global solutions and service delivery organization. This position will interface directly with internal and external customers/suppliers/providers; architecture, design/implementation engineering, change and product management, finance and business management and operations teams. The candidate must be able to work on their own and successfully in team settings in various sizes and locations. We prefer a CCNP certified or equivalent knowledgeable candidate.

Responsibilities and Duties:

✓ Manage Vendor, Partners and Consultants who work for GlobalXperts Field Engineering Services.
✓Manage our clients and understand onsite project requirements.
✓Manage dispatches for onsite requests from clients.
✓On-board new vendors and partners with under fixed target partner portfolio building.
✓Document all work actions as required by GlobalXperts and clients in accordance with standard policies and procedures.
✓Work with GX, client and third-party technical and service teams to maintain, troubleshoot and remediate technical issues.
✓Perform basic systems testing and operational tasks for a wide variety of network systems.
✓Varied shift schedules may include day, night and weekend hours, however primarily EMEA Shift.
✓Other duties as assigned

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

✓3+ years of experience troubleshooting and supporting Network infrastructure and devices (Routers, Switches, and Servers etc.).
✓Configuration of Cisco LAN, WAN and network devices.
✓3+ years’ experience in Cisco network (Route/Switch) configuration and troubleshooting such as VLAN, VTP, BGP etc.
✓Familiar with global operations and world-wide geography.
✓Must have excellent communication skills, writing skills, and the ability to work with team members at all levels.
✓Must have 2+ years job related experience on WAN/ LAN WLAN projects- remotes sites.
✓Excellent customer interface skills are a must.
✓Knowledge of LAN and Routing protocols.
✓Cisco certifications of CCNP can be an advantage
